This strangely-named injury landed Grace and me at Urgent Care yesterday for 2+ hours. Here's a definition from Wikipedia:
a dislocation of the elbow joint caused by a sudden pull on the extended pronated arm, such as by an adult tugging on an uncooperative child.
I was the adult in the above scenario but I'd like to say it was Grace, the uncooperative child that was doing the tugging. We were walking to the car and she didn't want to hold my hand. She was in instant pain and was able to tell me exactly where she was hurting. "I hurt elbow," she said. It took the doctor three attempts to get the ligament back in place. Once it was fixed, she was immediately back to her active, happy self.
Only problem is this has a very high rate of reoccurrence. So no swinging Grace by the arms anytime soon...

Hi D.D.! It's Andrea and Colleen. We are glad Gracie is ok! Kara had the same thing happen to her several times growing up... hopefully it won't happen again to Gracie but I guess there is a chance it could. Send the girls our love!!!
