New Hobbies

Grace is fascinated with bicycles and skateboards. Luckily she also loves helmets so at least she's going to be a safe daredevil. Given her growing obsession for things with wheels, I decided I couldn't wait until their second birthday to get tricycles. Stay tuned for photos of the girls on some very unconventional looking trikes.








Lily has taken up photography recently. We're still fine tuning her skills - like which way to face the camera, etc. Last night she cried when she couldn't take it to bed with her.


Both girls also really like watering the plants at their grandparents' house. On the drive to their house they start chanting, "Water the plants, water the plants." They also water themselves in the process.

Snow!!

The girls got to play in the snow this past weekend at Ty's grandparents' cabin in Wrightwood. It was a blast.

The next day we were back home enjoying the warm day at our local beach. The joys of living in Southern California...

My Favorite Game

It's called "Night, Night." We've been playing this game now for what seems like forever. Someone (either me or the girls) initiates the game by saying, "Night, night." The girls then throw themselves on the floor with blankets, the more the better. They lie there perfectly still for about ten seconds. That's why it's my favorite game.
