The Princess Phase

I knew it would come eventually, but I hoped to avoid it as long as possible. We have now entered the Disney Princess phase full force, at least with Lily. She insists on wearing her princess nightgown whenever at home and hasn't let go of a Sleeping Beauty ring and book the last two days. The only books they choose to read are the few Disney princess books we have.

A Few Recent Topics of Conversation

I'm trying to be better about recording funny things the girls say. Here are a few I remember from the last month:
-The girls are frequently asking me if a particular word is a mean word. They're smart enough to know they shouldn't use mean words so they're trying to develop a mental list. So for example: "Is "disgusting" a mean word?" Other words I've been asked about: push, monster, hate, yell, and the list goes on.
Also recently overheard:
-Grace: Mommy, can I have a paper towel? There's a bug I need to take care of.
-Lily: I think Jesus would really like this toy. It has a cross in it.

-Lily: Look at me in my gospels (goggles).

Grace at prayer time tonight: Dear God, Please give Lily new Sleeping Beauty undies. Hers are dirty and she really wants to wear them.
