Potty Progress

Dora can go on the potty. And look how excited she is about it.


Teddy can go on the potty.



Even Dolly can go on the potty. And it actually looks like Lily is trying to "go" in this picture.

Potty training or toilet teaching (the correct term these days) is going very slowly. Actually I'm not trying to teach them right now in any official way but they do ask to go often. They'll sit on the potty for 3.5 seconds and get up claiming to have gone. Rarely if ever is this the case.

We did see lots of fish. I just didn't photograph any. :)

Summer Fun

Here are the girls acting out a scene from a Beauty and the Beast book they have. They kept repeating this little exchange and I finally figured out what they were doing. By the time I ran inside to get the camera they'd "performed" this seven or eight times. Grace is Belle and Lily is Belle's father. Belle has disappointed her dad by not helping him as she'd promised. And then of course why not break into a rendition of "Hickory Dickory Dock?" And yes, they're often this loud.








Do you think we can convince Olympic officials to make the rings a women's gymnastics event by 2024? Grace really loves the rings.
